Welcome to Spring Valley Angus! Richard's father introduced him to the registered Angus cattle as a young boy. He participated in 4-H with his cattle and many cattle shows. Knowing cattle was truly in his heart, in 1980 he started Spring Valley Angus. We do AI breeding and strive to produce well balanced cattle with favorable birth weights and well balanced EPDs. We utilize AHIR and use ultrasound for carcass testing. The annual bull sale is the first Sunday in March. Our goal is to produce top quality bulls with balanced EPDs and carcass traits to choose from. We welcome visitors to the farm anytime!

Pam is nearing her 41st year of employment at AgCountry FCS in LaMoure. She is a Sr. Customer Service Rep./Real Estate Specialist. She spends alot of time following the grandkids (my kids) in their activities, doing yard work and volunteering her time for local organizations throughout the community. She recently took on the role of 4-H Leader for the grandkids' 4-H club, the Fullerton Achiever's. She is the ultimate mom and can count on her for anything whether it's baking goodies for the kids' class, coming out to help with homework, supper (hallelujia), baths and laundry during planting and harvest season to coming to the rescue when you just need a break. She very rarely will miss a sporting or activity of the kids. Although she doesn't spend much time out in the barn or lots, she has been getting trained in checking in on the cows via video and she's been out helping on the days they work or weigh the herd. 

I (Trista) am married to Joey and we reside about 13 miles south of mom and dad's farm, near Fullerton. I work in Oakes, ND as the Asst. VP/Loan Officer at BankNorth and have been with them for over 12 years now. Joey farms and raises corn and soybeans, which keeps him busy. He helps dad out with the livestock quite a bit when he needs an extra hand. We have four children, Bryley (14), Merrick (9), Rachel (8), and Kirsten (7). They go to school at Oakes Public School and participate in many different activities. 

Katie (my sister) lives nearby in Oakes, ND with her significant other, Greg. Katie is currently working at Heritage Insurance as a customer service rep. It's nice having her so close and working in the same town to help out with the kids when needed! Greg works on the farm with his brother and runs GRG Repair, working on combines and other equipment.
